Ricki Schmidt
Ricki's multi-faceted resume, beginning with a two-year stint with the FBI , more than 25 years in the paper industry and most recently, as a loan officer with American Home Mortgage, reflects the diversity yet consistently distinguished workplace achievements of his professional career. His disposition is a perfect match for the people-oriented mortgage field as is his personal goal of "making at least one new friend each day." Since joining Mason Dixon Funding in 2007, he has already secured more than his share of new clients, all of whom acknowledge and appreciate his work ethic and sincerity in securing the best loan for their circumstances.
A native of Marion, Ohio who spent most of his childhood in Flora, Ill., Ricki eventually made his way east and graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. with a B.A. in Religion and minors in Psychology and Youth Work. He still makes his home in Lynchburg and plays an active role in both his church and the local Chamber of Commerce. He’s very much a family man who enjoys most sports, especially those involving water.
