Louise Canavan
Years of experience as a CPA, coupled with an expertise in optimizing business processes and integrating financial and technical concepts, have allowed Louise to achieve considerable success in her mortgage lending career. She joined Mason Dixon in 2005 after spending several years as a loan officer at Federal Funding Mortgage and working in various management positions for a few telecommunications companies, developing her analytical, strategic and interpersonal skills. It is that diverse background and extensive training that make her uniquely qualified to assist her borrowers in every facet of the mortgage lending process.
Her affinity for the East Coast has kept Louise fairly close to home for both educational and professional purposes. She was born and raised in Elizabeth, N.J., and received her B.S. in Accounting (minor in Economics) from the University of Delaware. Receiving her realtor's license is a near-term goal, the achievement of which will help broaden her ability to meet the needs of her clients. She now makes her home in Bethesda, Md., and manifests her compassion for others by volunteering with the D.C. Alzheimer's Association and Habitat for Humanity.
