Anton Bestebreurtje
There’s no substitute for experience, and Anton’s 30+ years in the financial field have provided him with a myriad of professional insights and personal lessons which he has used to achieve considerable success and earn respect from clients as well as colleagues. Before coming to Mason Dixon in 2007, his mortgage resume included “hands on” and management positions with Suburban Savings & Loan, American Security Bank, Nations Bank/Bank of America and Market Street Mortgage, where he was a Senior Loan Officer for 14 years.
Born in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. and raised in Louisville, Ky. and Charlottesville, Va., Anton is now a resident of Clifton, Va. He received a B.A. from Williams College (Williamstown, Mass.), a school for which he actively raises funds and serves as Treasurer of the D.C. Alumni Association and which acknowledged his efforts by making him the youngest person ever to receive the Rogerson Cup, a lifetime award in recognition of service to the College. On the professional front, he is an active member of the National Association of Remodelers and sits on the Finance Committee of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA).
