Laurent Berman
With his extraordinary resume of success in the mortgage field, and an equally outstanding record of incomparable customer service, it is easy to see why Mason Dixon was so delighted that Laurent joined the company in 2007 as Vice President. Working with FFMC and 1st American Mortgage, he earned Top Producer Awards for five consecutive years (2002-06) and was voted by borrowers as Best Client Servicer for that same period. He also contributes to his customers a unique insight into the construction aspects of homebuilding, having spent several years in sales for Toll Brothers before beginning his mortgage career.
A Washington-area native born in Silver Spring, Laurent attended the University of Maryland and now lives in Gaithersburg with his wife and three children. He supports his profession as an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Maryland Builders Association. On the personal front, he coaches his kids’ sports teams, squeezes in games of golf or racquetball when his schedule permits and still finds time to support the efforts of various cancer groups.
