Gen Awanohara
Earning entry into the prestigious President's Club in each of his first three years at Mason Dixon provided proof positive that a novice can be a natural in the mortgage business. Although his only prior work experience was in the restaurant field, Gen was a quick study in learning what it takes to make each purchase or refinance a seamless process for his borrowers.

Gen was born in Tokyo, but spent much of his childhood and teenage years in a variety of fascinating faraway places. He lived in Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Hawaii before settling in the Maryland area. A graduate of the University of Maryland (B.A. in Marketing & International Business Management), he now lives in Germantown, Md.
